Boundaries Approved by the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees has approved the following recommendations from
Board Report 23035 at the March 22, 2023, Board Meeting:
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Halton District School Board adjust the boundaries for Glenview Public School and Maplehurst Public School English programs as outlined in Option 11, as detailed in Report 23035, effective September 2023.
THAT the Halton District School Board permits students currently attending Grades 4 and 5 as of March 31, 2023, at Glenview Public School, who are impacted by the boundary changes to be granted a legacy exemption to finish their Grade 6 year at Glenview Public School, with transportation; and,
THAT the Halton District School Board allow new students moving into the Zones A, B, C, D, and Ea, being redirected from Glenview Public School to Maplehurst Public School, following March 31, 2023, to be given the opportunity to enrol at Maplehurst Public School immediately, with transportation.

Glenview - Maplehurst Boundary Review Process Background
On December 7, 2022, the Board of Trustees directed staff to complete a boundary review process for Aldershot, as recommended in report
22148, as per the following:
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Halton District School Board direct staff to complete a boundary review for ERA 100 (Aldershot) with the objective of addressing accommodation pressures;
The established School Boundary Review Committee (BRC) reviewed a number of options as part of the process (listed below), and presented two options to the community to gather feedback.

Public Consultation Meeting
The presentation and shortlisted options for advanced review was provided on February 1st. Questions submitted ahead and/or during the meeting through the
Livestream Question Form, were respond to inquiries during the meeting.
The HDSB invited feedback on the impact of each option presented prior to and after the Public Information Meeting. Feedback closed at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2023. The data collected was presented to the BRC and BRSC at the February 13th BRC meeting.
Based on that feedback, the BRC recommended that Option 11 be presented to Senior Staff for consideration. Senior staff concurred with the recommendation and presented it to the Board of Trustees for consideration and approval for first review on March 1, 2023, then for final approval on March 22, 2023.
On March 23, 2022, the Board communicated to families the outcome of the Boundary Review Study and will be working with the affected communities to ensure a smooth transition. For additional information on the transition process, please reach out to your school administration.
